Autumn should be upon us, but I am still wearing my summer dresses and it has been exceptionally warm still. We decided to make a trip up north to Thessaloniki this year, and spent a few days up in the mountains of Chalkidiki in the family cabin. It was a wonderful! We went hiking, and spent a lot of time playing with the dog, Atilla. I became a little farmer girl, and picked freshly grown tomatoes and peppers and made wonderful salads with it.
Here you can see pictures of some of the plants and trees at the cabin and Thessaloniki. Figs are also in season, and what wonderful fresh figs I had!
The salad that we made with some of the tomatoes and peppers that I picked from the mountain cabin garden.
The quince tree and the quince fruits!
