Many people know me, know that I love cats. I have been following the prgress of this cafe from the time I read it online. When the place finally opened, I couldn’t wait to get a timeslot booked to see the cats! Having read their website again and again and also keeping tabs on their news, I was so happy to finally get to spend one morning at the cafe in Shoreditch. The walk there was nice, and I had a great time playing with the cats. One of them even decided to come onto my sofa and ‘knead bread’ on my scarf! She was a darling, and her name was Alice.
There are 2 levels to this cafe, and the big ‘kitty wheel’ is on the main floor while the basement houses the big jungle gym like cat toys and that was where I was seated.
Here are some pictures of my wonderful morning, and I have to say that Wookie the cat totally stole my heart that day. It was a good thing that I couldn’t adopt any of them to be Katiki’s sibling (not to mention that she probably wouldn’t want to share my attention with any other cat)
