Art: London – Tate Modern, Tate Britain, Victoria & Albert

It was an extraordinary opportunity for me, during this trip, to not visit one, but two exhibitions about the designer Alexander McQueen. I was lucky enough to receive a gift from a friend of my sister – Dorian – of 2 Victoria and Albert Museum Complimentary tickets. This was a sold out show, with some people buying tickets months before (with time slots!). I was really extremely lucky. Photography was not allowed inside the exhibitions, but it was wonderful, to be able to see the process of the creation (at the Waplington photography exhibition at Tate Britain) and also the end result (the Savage Beauty exhibition at V&A.)

I also managed to see the other exhibits at the V&A, Tate Britain and I spent a wonderful day at Tate Modern too. I managed to sneak a few photos (which can be seen below). These are my favourites, and I will write more in a future update with a description of the paintings/images (that is, if I remember!)
